A rough-and-tumble exploration of hard, blues-driven rock & roll”

Meet the Artist

Schuyler Grant is a singer-songwriter based out of Cape Cod, Ma. Though driven by his love of the blues, Grant's music is an amalgam of blues, rock, soul, and folk.

Working with Grammy-nominated producer Jon Evans (Tori Amos, Sarah Mclaughlin), Schuyler released his first studio EP, “Moving On” (available now at www.schuylergrantmusic.bandcamp.com), in May of 2016. Called “gritty and soulful” by one reviewer, “Moving On” explores the softer side of Grant’s songwriting, drawing much inspiration from likes of Bob Dylan and Ray LaMontagne.

Grant’s second LP is a departure from the folk-inspired songwriting of his first, replacing the gentle ballads of “Moving On” with a rough and tumble exploration of the harder, blues driven rock and roll the songwriter holds close to heart. “It is the music I have always wanted to play— growing up on Clapton, Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin, I developed a love for fuzzed-out guitar riffs at an early age,” Grant laughs. Working with Bradley Conant on percussion and again with Evans on bass, the album was released at the end of 2017.
